The Coventry Volunteer Fire Association provides primary fire protection for the first voting district (south-end), and ambulance service throughout the town.  We have an active membership of 40 male and female members trained in fire fighting and emergency medical services.  This service is assisted by a Lifestar Air Ambulance when needed.

The North Coventry Volunteer Fire Department www.northcoventryfire.org provides primary fire protection for the second voting district (north-end), and rescue services town-wide.  The Department has a Main Station located on the corner of Main (RT 31) and Wright's Mill Road, and a substation located on Merrow Road at Laidlaw Park.

The Coventry Police Department is a full time full service law enforcement agency.  The Department is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Contact the police department with requests for service, to report a crime or suspicious activity or to make a simple inquiry.  Residents are encouraged to call at any time even when they believe the matter is not serious.
